I’m 20 years old and I was born in 2000

Where are you from and describe where you grew up

I grew up in the Philippines, a hot place but the food there is amazing!

Where are you currently living?

I’m currently living in Mississauga, and I moved to Canada from the Philippines back in 2014..

When were you first introduced to kendama?

I was first introduced into kendama back in 2014, but didn’t get fully into it in 2017.

How were you introduced to Sweets?

My friend had a pink F3 Sweets kendama and I loved playing with it so much that I bought a seshed dama for $15, and that was the best kendama I’ve purchased.

What players did you look up to / inspired you at the beginning and now.

The players who inspired me in the beginning and continue to inspire me till now are Nick Gallagher, Nobu Nori (Nobuyoshi Norioka), and Wyatt Bray. The consistency of Wyatt, the cleanliness of Nobu and the crazy tricks of Nick are what pushes me to play kendama and continue to be better.

What’s your favourite trick?

My favorite tricks are lunars and late kenflips

What trick was the most satisfying grind? / took the longest to lace and film?

Currently the most satisfying grind was getting the around stall jug stall, it took me 2.5 hours after an 8 hour shift to get it.

The longest time it took me to get a trick is 14 hours to get around bird jug bird when I was still learning jug to stalls lol

What’s your favourite style of play? Casual, grind for a bang, freestyle, competition?

Casual is my favorite, just playing around while practicing my consistency with tricks that I’ve already learned

What’s your favourite wood type?

Any bad habits while playing?
